Why Volunteer?

IMG-20140602-00124There’s no single reason why our members volunteer. Some want to give back to a community they love, others crave the adrenaline of first-response. If you’ve got the drive to volunteer, here is some of what you’ll get in return:

  • A sense of purpose that comes from assisting your friends, neighbors and even complete strangers when they need help most. It’s a feeling like no other.
  • New skills and experience that can help in all facets of your life, including advancing in or changing your career or catching the eye of a college admissions officer.
  • The sense of belonging that comes from working as a team.
  • Life-long friendships.
  • Free training.
